We often get the question whether our Yamaha RD systems may be used with
Ignitech or Zeeltronics advance control units. We offer material that could drive a Ignitech or Zeeltronics ignition. We assure the proper working of the alternator (voltage generation) and the pulse from the sensor. It is however not in our responsibility how the 3rd party ignition is connected and how and whether it works in this setup. Also we can not provide any service relative to the ignition side. Those would be the following systems (please check stock configuration as there have been more than one RD configuration) 71 05 499 00 (for RD with stock points, rotor fastened by screw) 71 06 499 00 (for RD with stock CDI, rotor fastened by nut) 71 13 499 00 (for RD with stock CDI, rotor on long shaft fastened by nut) |

We also offer systems for those engines with advance and retards control. 71 05 999 00 (for RD with stock points, rotor fastened by screw) 71 06 999 00 (for RD with stock CDI, rotor fastened by nut) 71 13 999 00 (for RD with stock CDI, rotor on long shaft fastened by nut) However, you as the customer can not programm the material yourself. You may send us your requests for advance lines (giving what angle at which crank speeds) which we will implement in the material. There will always be also our standard lines there |
