for Maico 250/400/440/490/MC490/T

Fitting all Maico 2-stroke countershaft (3 shafts) engines made between 1978-82.

Here's a picture of the engine the system was made for.

Hint: rotor weight is 1000 grams, for engines with 250cc we recommend 700 grams rotor weight: 71 36 799 DC

Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition. Light output 12V/100W DC. Ignition with own power supply from within the system. Replaces original Magneto as well as all ignition parts. Does not require changes on crankcase.
Important remark: For offroad using (do not support battery and flasher) we offer an alternative AC regulator, that is smaller and lighter. for that here
