Alternator  for BMW versions /6 and /7

Magnet based single phase alternator. Output 12V/190W DC. No carbons, hence maintenance free. Replaces the original 12V Bosch 3-phase alternator including rectifier and regulator. There is no need for changes on engine casing.

Note: Does not replace ignition, this is alternator only.

Please observe!
  • does not support any existing electronic revolution counter if it is connected to the stock generator.
  • the security switch (which prevents electric starting when the engine is running) could be used if the red/green wire of the new regulator is connected as shown here:
  • has only 190watts (ignition power however additional to that) and offers therefore less electric power than original alternator
