Technical Help

in rotor of some systems there are 2 (in others even 3) magnets missing and this is so by design and not by mistake or accident.

In most 2 stroke twin cylinder systems sparks are needed every 180 degrees. to facilitate this, the rotor supplied with those systems lack 2 magnets. The resulting magnetic "holes" trigger ignition. On 2 stroke tripples 3 magnets are missing.

It therefore is not a manufactural mistake or some damage that the magnets are not there. It is so be design, even if that looks a little odd.
