electronic ignition for early BMW flat twins R5, R51 and R51/2 with stock distributer and chain driven camshaft (camshaft turns clockwise) 

• BMW flat twins with gear driven camshaft (cam turning anticlockwise) need System 7407
• Ural/ Dnepr need different systems.

• a hall based electronic trigger unit will replace the points setup. The distributer will not be needed any more, still each cylinder will get only his spark.
