Tool to hold Powerdynamo rotor

Holder tool for Powerdynamo rotor
spare part number: 70 00 000 33 => €/$

To help holding the  Powerdynamo Rotor during assembly/disassembly.
Suitable for all Powerdynamo rotors (except sport rotor 54mm diameter as well as and inverse rotor.)

This is a multipurpose tool with 3 sets of screw holes and 2 sets of screws.
The screws will not screw into the rotor, but act as dowels, reaching into rotor openings to prevent circular movement during assembly
please never use other than the supplied screws. They might be too long and damage the stator coil!

First select the needed screws/screwholes as follows (take the non-needed screws off!)
For rotors with a diameter 128mm and above  use the supplied M10 screws.

For non-riveted rotors with a diameter 103 or 112mm use the supplied M8 screws and set them into the screw holes with the smaller diameter circle

For riveted rotors with a diameter 103 or 112mm use the supplied M8 screws and set them into the screw holes with the larger diameter circle

Having prepared the tool with the needed set of screws, place the tool onto the rotor as shown here

The tool grips the rotor with 2 screws acting as dowels and is held in Position by a SW17 spanner (preferably ring key).

Now you can engange/disengage the rotor nut/screw with the rotor more securely held in place.

NEVER ever use a screwdriver or similar to hold the rotor during assy as shown here.
This will damage the stator coil for sure!
Also never use a oilfilter clamp or similar to fix the rotor, this might damage the glued in magnets
