Unfortunately again and again customers order wrong, nonfitting systems - even though we offer a lot of information on possible errors. Why?

It is not always easy to order the correct system. There have been many types, versions, changes and after market modifications possibly not known to the customer.
Quite often however customers are a little superficial when ordering. To give a few exampels:
  • for some time we did write such statements as "replaces Motoplat" or "replaces SEM". This did lead customers to stop reading further as they had e.g. a Motopolat and now did think this is it. There have however been several hundred different Motoplat or SEM systems.
  • or when we say "replaces stock Noris". Customer reads Noris, he has a Noris and bingo this must be it. We have some hafty book here showing lots of different Noris things...
  • also often type and engine displacement ore confused. We than get from customer "i have a KTM 125" or "JAWA 350" and we than have to ask back explainging that this is a displacement figure and not a type. Even worse, some manufactuer re-use type names for very different things (try  Husqvarna TE in Google, you will be amazed)

Now, what can be done to avoid, or at least limit scope for error and as a result loss of time, expense and frustration on both sides?

We instantly ask you:
Read our product information and possible additional information linked from there before you buy. Take note of such things as "ignition on lefrt (or right) side of engine", diameter of base plate (often 90mm and 110mm get confused)  number of fastening screws of base plate, fastening of rotor by nut or screw. IF unsure, ask us, the shop offers a button  <contact us> before you buy.

Now what if something had gone wrong?
Also this is not the end of the world. We would, with your active help, do every thing to find out what you really need for your engine and get you the fitting material. For this, as mentioned, we need your halp and not just statements as "does not fit, does not work"
