As we often get asked how to find whether a Powerdynamo system has internal or external trigger we give this information below |

| Please note: there are systems where older versions had external sensor and new version internal. Those systems than have however different part numbers and only giving vehicle type (such as Adler 250 or Yamaha XS650) is not enough for identification. | |

|
|
| a system with internal sensor has left or right (depending on working modus) to the larger black coil (ignition pole for spark energy) 2 small synchronisation coils which after the rotor has been set will no longer be visible. | a system with external trigger das a magnetic sensor outside of rotor (and the rotor has one or two protrusions (noses) |
