electronic generator/ignition for Montesa  and Ossa
-with rotor fastening nut M18-
NOTE: There have been 2 versions of Montesa. Main difference relative to ignition system is thickness of magneto side crankshaft pin. Best way of distinction: size of rotor fastening nut. For system with nut M14 see here.

This system should fit: Montesa Impala 175 Sport, Impala 250 Sport, Enduro 250/ 360, Crono 350, Cappra 250/360/414, Cota 349 as well as some Ossa.

Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition: Light output 12V/100W DC (regulator may be supressed if not needed).

Ignition with own power supply from within the system. Replaces original magneto as well as all ignition parts. Does not require changes on crankcase. 

Rotor weight 1.1kg   as option with rotor 2kg
Advantage over original system:
  • all parts are new
  • solid state ignition
  • very stable ignition with solid spark
  • better starting, better fuel burning
  • more light output (with light bulb 40/45W)
