No need to modify engine casing. 

• ignition will still need battery (more info see here)
• as the stock dynamo is no longer there, the condenser has lost his place and will now need to be fastened elsewhere (say on frame)

• all parts are new
• more light output, you may use H4 lights

• fastening of the regulator (and the advance unit) by using of a (self-made) bracket
